Manuscript Preparation
Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the following requirements before submission to Balkanistic Worlds.
File Format and Layout
Manuscripts should be submitted as editable Microsoft Word files (.doc or .docx).
Please use:

Times New Roman, 12 pt

1.5 line spacing
-
2.5 cm margins
-
no page numbers
-
consistent formatting throughout the manuscript
Structure of Research Articles
Research Articles should normally include:

Title
-
Abstract (200–250 words)
-
Keywords (3–7)
-
Introduction
-
Theoretical Background / Literature Review
-
Methodology, where applicable
-
Analysis and Discussion
-
Conclusions
-
Acknowledgments, where applicable
-
References
The structure may be adapted according to the discipline and methodology of the research.
Title, Abstract and Keywords
The title should be concise and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
The abstract should briefly present the research objective, methodology or approach, main findings, and conclusions.
Provide 3–7 keywords that represent the principal topics and concepts of the manuscript.
Citations and References
Balkanistic Worlds uses APA 7th edition for citations and references.
Authors should ensure that all sources cited in the text appear in the reference list and that all references are accurate and complete.
DOIs should be included whenever available.
Authors are responsible for checking the accuracy of their citations and bibliographic information.
Figures and Tables
Figures and tables should:

be numbered consecutively;
-
be cited in the text;
-
have clear titles or captions;
-
include sources where applicable.
Images should normally have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Tables should be submitted in an editable format.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material where necessary.
Anonymization
Because the journal uses double-blind peer review, the manuscript submitted for review must not contain information identifying the authors.
Author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, and other identifying information should be provided separately on the title page.
Authors should also remove identifying information from the document's file properties where possible.
ORCID, Funding and Declarations
Authors are encouraged to provide an ORCID iD.

Language
The journal accepts manuscripts in English, Bulgarian, German, French, and Slavic languages.
Authors are responsible for the linguistic quality, accuracy, and consistency of their manuscripts.
Final Check
Before submission, authors should ensure that:

the manuscript follows the journal's formatting requirements;

it is within the applicable length limit;
-
it is anonymized for double-blind review;
-
citations and references follow APA 7;
-
figures and tables are properly prepared;
-
all required declarations are included.
