Peer Review
Balkanistic Worlds uses a double-blind peer-review procedure.
Research articles are normally evaluated by at least two independent experts. Manuscripts are first assessed by the editorial team for relevance, scholarly quality, and compliance with the journal's submission requirements.

Article Types
The journal publishes:
- Research Articles — up to 50,000 characters including spaces and references;
- Book Reviews — up to 20,000 characters including spaces and references;
- Research Notes or Reports — up to 10,000 characters including spaces and references.
Publication Fees
Balkanistic Worlds does not charge authors any Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees.
There are no fees for submitting, reviewing, or publishing manuscripts.
